  • Reducing Early School Leaving?

The variables involved in early school leaving can be different and often interrelated, such as choosing a type of school does not respond to attitudes, interests, motivations of the student, social and economic disadvantage, a school context that does not meet expectations, school failures, family problems.

Often the school environment does not provide clear practical contextualization of theoretical concepts that are taught. Thus students have the feeling to learn something they will never need in their working life.

This gap between theory and practice favors the early school leaving phenomenom.

The added value of the training projects described herein is to help students understand, through direct experience, the understand how theoretical concepts are going to be put to practice.

A school environment that increases the levels of contact with the external realities and provides learning situations did not by teachers but by experts in specific subjects or profession is definitely more challenging and interesting and can thus become more attractive for students.

  • For better understanding of processes and cooperation within enterprises and companies?

Often young people have a distorted idea of the business world. Much depends on the family and social context in which they live. The company can then be viewed as the parents' workplace, the place that produces Family Welfare or the place where prevail exhaustion and frustration.

Often young people do not understand the true nature of the business world, the relationships that exist between company and workers, company and territory, environment, education etc..

To get in touch with the productive system in a “sheltered” environment such as school allows young people to understand the interrelationships between the various stakeholders that contribute to economic and social development of a territory.
