Supporting influences

Training activities taking place in schools are more aimed at developing the entrepreneurial spirit of students, as well as having a longer duration. It is, therefore, from our point of view, initiatives more interesting and useful than those implemented in other contexts.

Possible obstacles when implementing new learning goals

To run such kind of activities the involvement of many different stakeholders is required. All stakeholders must share the same objectives, must accept to be part of a training team where the aim is to help students to develop the skills and competences that will help them in their insertion in labour market, as employs or employers.

Obstacles:

  • unwillingness by teachers to get involved with different roles and responsibilities from the usual
  • lack of willingness by companies to make available time and resources to be allocated to the training of young
  • unwillingness on the part of school management to organize activities that need significant time involvement, training of teachers and management of outside trainers
  • lack of financial resources to remunerate teachers’ additional workload
