The department Vocational Education and Adult Education guarantees and stimulates the quality, accessibility and efficiency of teaching activities in Vocational Education (VET). The management of this Department has a strategic agenda. The most important topics are:
- Connection between schools and labourmarket;
- Implementing competence based learning in VET;
- Good pathway from prevocational education to VET to Higher Vocational Education;
- Prevention early schoolleaving;
- Cooperation on regional level to develop and use of knowledge;
- Qualitycare in international perspective;
- Increase the accessibility for disadvantaged groups.
As you can see the Ministry of Education puts a lot of attention to improve the transition from the different school types in an on-going learning pathway and the transition from school to work. |
